Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site: to read it, to understand it, and to reach us. This page says what we have actually done, against which standard, and what is still open.
The standard we build to
- Israeli Standard SI 5568 Part 1 (September 2023 edition) — web content accessibility. Published by the Standards Institution of Israel, sii.org.il.
- The standard adopts the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines at conformance level AA. Full text: w3.org/TR/WCAG20.
- The duty arises under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013.
One distinction worth making: this is the standard and the level we build to. We are not claiming that level has been fully reached — the comprehensive testing that would let us claim it has not yet been done.
What we have already done
- A skip link to the main content — the first keyboard stop on every page.
- When you browse by keyboard, a clear indicator shows which element you are on at any moment, across the whole site.
- Page structure set out in the markup: a defined main content region on every page, and an unbroken heading hierarchy with no skipped levels.
- Language and text direction declared in the markup on every page, in both Hebrew and English.
- If you have set reduced motion in your operating system, the site picks that up and turns the animation off.
- An accessibility panel on every page: three text-size steps, high contrast, highlighted links, animation off, the standard mouse pointer back, and a readable font.
What is not yet complete
- Automated testing has now been run across every page of the site in both languages, along with keyboard and zoom testing. We still do not claim full conformance with the standard, because automated testing does not catch every barrier.
- The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader.
- An accessibility panel is not a substitute for an accessible site, and we do not present it as one.
Using the accessibility panel
The round button with the accessibility symbol sits in the bottom corner of every page, and you can reach it by keyboard. Your choices are stored in your own browser only. We do not see them and we do not keep them.
If something here still is not accessible to you
Any information on this site you can get from us directly — by phone, WhatsApp or email, whichever suits you. You should not have to fight the page to get an answer.
Hit a barrier? Tell us
A page that will not read. A control you cannot reach by keyboard. Text that is hard to make out. If any of this happens to you, tell us exactly what happened and on which page. You can also ask us to make something accessible that we have not got to yet, and you can send a formal accessibility demand. We handle accessibility reports and look into every one.
Meetings
The firm works on a service-area model, and meetings are arranged in advance. If you need an accessibility adjustment for a meeting — an accessible location, support, anything else — tell us when we arrange it and we will sort it out.

This statement covers the firm's website at gottlibfirm.com, all of its pages, in Hebrew and in English. The site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ARIA.
